<sup>Jos Jansen (NL) is a phenomenon on the bass trombone. With his virtuoso performance, characteristic sound and in particular his versatility, he appeals to a large audience. As a solo player he has performed in a.o. the United States, France, Germany, the Czech Republic, Italy, Austria and Switzerland.

Jos feels at home in light and classical styles and with his open approach to music inspires many trombonists. He regulary gives workshops and is often a guest at leading trombone festivals.

Jos Jansen was special guest at Slide Factory 2007 / International Trombone Festival Europe.

Jos Jansen is a member of the Marine Band of the Royal Netherlands Navy and plays exclusively on Willson trombones.</sup>
